Avril is often squinting at things (she has sensitive eyes).
When not squinting at the world, she enjoys working methodically - breaking a process down to its parts and mulling over them individually. In each project she aims to be sensitive to material investigations, to be open to discoveries and to see a concept through the end.
Someday she will get in the habit of wearing shades.
